Pierre Radisson followed his half sister to Trois Rivieres in 1651 to become a explorer, fur trader and is responsible for the creation of the Hudson Bay Company.  He was classified as a Coureurs de Bois and a traitor by the French authorities.   The French suppression of its peoples creativity  forced hundreds to abandon the French culture.  Exploration, enterprise and freedom were the coveted rights of the nobility and church.
