The first Salzl aka Salze was Paul Salze born 1823 Illmitz, Austria-Hungary
he died 1903 at Morinville, North West Territories.
He married 1847 Wallern, Austria Maria Weinzethl born 1818 Germany,
she also died Morinville.

The first McDougall is not as firmly established as the Salzl relatives
but is thought to be Dougald McDougall born 1770 Arisaig, Scotland however
Donald McDougall (1818 - 1894) and Mary McEchrane (MacEachrane) (1823-1914) are positively confirmed.
