Re: BCC 2005 Annual General Meeting

On behalf of the Steveston Buddhist welcome to the 2005 BCC Annual General Meeting.

Indeed, it is amazing how time quickly flies. It is late January and here we are in the midst of planning for the 2005 Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is scheduled for April 21 - 24 at the Steveston Buddhist Temple.

The AGM begins Friday with the BCC Board gathering for their director's meeting. This will be preceded by the Minister's Association meeting which starts on Thursday. I have attached a preliminary schedule which will undoubtedly undergo some changes as I gather input from the Ministers' Association, the BCC and the Women's Federation. However, I do hope that it will give you an indication of the time and venue of various activities taking place during the AGM. I have also attached a registration form for all delegates including the ministers and ministers' wives.

Would you please share this information with all those who will be attending the AGM.

If you have any queries, please contact either Hattori Sensei at 604 277-2323 or myself at 604 244-7710 or by email at akune@shaw.ca.

We do look forward to a large representation from each temple. Certainly this adds to the atmosphere of the AGM and it is also a wonderful opportunity for us to meet again as Dharma friends and followers.

In Gassho,

Roy Akune
