Yasuo Izumi Sensei officiating; Guest speaker: Doei Fujii Sensei In 2003, Doei Fujii Sensei was appointed rinban of the Seattle Betsuin Buddhist Temple where he first was assigned as an assistant minister in 1979. He has served temples of the Buddhist Churches of America in Spokane/Yakima (1984); the Los Angeles Betsuin (1991); and the San Fernando Buddhist Temple (1998). He was born on Sado Island, Niigataken, Japan, and received his education at Ryukoku University, Central College of Buddhism, and Eastern Washington University. |
