(June-July Activities)
Family Day Picnic - Sunday, June 2 from noon to 3:00 p.m. at Henderson Horseshoe. Bring your own potluck dish, paper plates, cups, and utensils. Beverages will be provided. There will be games for the kids. Please contact Brenda Ikuta at 317-0078 as she would like a head count on the number of kids attending.
Please note that in case of bad weather, the picnic will be held at Honpa Temple.
Kei Ro Kai and Golf - Friday, June 28 at Land-O-Lakes Golf Course in Coaldale. Deadline for registration is June 21 to the first 40 golfers. See attached registration for details. Click here to download the annoucement and registration form: Kei Ro Kai and Golf
Obon Odori Practice - all practices will be held at Honpa Temple at 7:00 p.m. starting Tuesday, May 21 and every Tuesday thereafter until Obon.
OBON SERVICE
Everyone is cordially invited to an Obon Service
to be held at Honpa Temple on Sunday, July 7, 2002.
Cemetery service is at 1:00 p.m.
Temple service is at 2:00 p.m.
Supper at the temple will be followed with Obon Odori
scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Galt Gardens
Obon and Reunion in New Denver will be held July 27 & 28.
