The Southern Alberta Buddhist Choir will be holding a bottle drive on Thursday, December 5, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Honpa Temple. They are asking people to please drop off their bottles, cans and juice cartons at Honpa's regular Sunday Service on December 1 or on Thursday, December 5.

Joint Hanamatsuri Service will be held on April 6, 2003 at Raymond Buddhist Temple. Guest speaker is Fred Ulrich Sensei from Winnipeg.

A donation has been sent to the Afghanistan Relief Appeal, Honpa Buddhist Temple's "Disaster Fund" recipient for this year. For those members that haven't yet donated, we would appreciate it if you would please do so.
Last Sunday Service for this year is December 22, 2002 with the regular Sunday Service commencing January 5, 2003.
A Lethbridge Honpa Temple welcome tea will be held for Rev. Izumi and Mrs. Izumi after service this Sunday, December 22, 2002.
