(thanks to KB Takeda and Brenda Ikuta for news, photos and captions)

The history of Ikebana, by Sensei Nariyuki Hattori

The Dharma class decorated vases at Monkey Girl Ceramics recently. On Nov 18, 2001, the class was taught ikebana (flower arrangement) by Mrs. Toshiko Tanaka. Click the captions to see the results. Following the lessons, the class delivered their beautiful creations to seniors at St. Michaels Care Centre, Edith Cavell Care Centre, and Extendicare Centre.
