Callies Canadian National Champs - November 2007

Callies won the Challenge Cup for the third time in October in Halifax. A superb performance in the final as the team dominated the BC champs to win 5-0.

Callies AMSL 2004 Alberta Champs - September 2004

The Callies AMSL Men's team has repeated as Alberta champs! The team is now off to Prince Edward Island in October to defend their national championship!

Kooy 2002 MVP

Chris Kooy was deservedly, albeit belatedly, awarded the MVP for 2002 at the Callies banquet in February. Chris had an outstanding season playing in 28 of the teams 29 matches. His superb defensive play combined with an attacking flair makes him a very talented full back. There was not one game where Chris did not perform well. Lets hope he can repeat in 2003. Chris has previously played in the Canada Summer Games gold medal winning team, and why he has not been snapped up by the Storm is amazing.

2002 Indoor Provincials

Indoor Provincials Callies AMSL team once again underachieved at the indoor provincials held in Edmonton at the end of March. Despite going in unbeaten all year, the team could not function at its best for the weekend. Lack of tough competition in Calgary during the winter does not help.
