| On Thursday Morning February 13, 1997 the grade 3's and 6's competed in
the Reach for the Top tounament that took place in Fox Lake at JBS School.
There were 4 teams competing at each grade level: 2 from Fox Lake 1 from
Garden River and John D'Or. The grade 3's went first. It was a tough tournament.
Fox Lake took 2nd and 4th place and John D'Or took first. Garden River took
3rd place. In the grade 6 Catagary Fox Lake took 2nd. Garden River took
4th for participation. The tournament was alot of fun and we cheered on
for our Fox Lake team to the End. by M |
The grade 6's and Grade 3's competed in the annual Reach for the Top competition
at the Fox Lake school on Thursday, February 13, 1997. The schools hold
the annual Reach for the Top competition every year for grade 3's, 6's and
Grade 9's. They get busses to transport the students to the communities
where the competition is held. The Fox Lake grade sixes placed 1st and 3rd.

| The John Dor and Garden River's Grade Threes and sixes came to fox Lake
and played in a Reach for the Top Tournament on Feb. 13, 1997 at 1130 am.
They came on bus From John Dor and Garden River. First the Grade 3's played
against each Other and won Third Place Then we went to Lunch. Then The grade
sixes played. Fox Lake Team #1 got Third. And Fox Lake teacm #2 got First

On Feb 13, 1997 was a Reach for the top Tournament in the J.B.S. School
gym. Grade 3 and 6 classes from John D'or Garden River and Fox Lake competed
against each other. They played Reach for the top to try to win trophies
and medals. Teachers asked questions and students tried to answer the questions.
The grade threes from Johns D'or won First place. Fox Lake grade 3's took
second place. Garden River played thired. The grade 6's From Fox Lake won
