About half of JBS's students still take a horse-drawn
wagon to school. During the winter, the wagons don
a wooden, box-like cover and are heated with a wood
stove.
To get a taste for the experience, the teachers enjoy a
recreational wagon ride. |

These tipis are set up in front of the school during
the fall, after the first snowfall. Story-tellers are
invited, and students enjoy learning in a more
traditional, Cree way, in an appropriate setting. |
