We welcomed in 2003 at Dwayne and Larry's new
condo.

And last but not least... |
Brian's
family get-together - December 23rd.
Jeff's family get-together - December 24th
On August 25th, we celebrated Jeff's daughter LINDSAY'S 16th Birthday with
a BBQ at our place.

We all met in Calgary to take in the ARGRA (Alberta Rockies Gay Rodeo Association) Rodeo. Lot's of fun - the dance, dinner and rodeo were a blast!!!

On June 16th Larry celebrated his 40th birthday (it was Jeff's 41st birthday the same day, but we don't celebrate that anymore).
A big surprise party was held and we were all entertained with good food, good friends and Vanity Fair, whose rendition of Dolly Parton's "PMS Blues" brought the house down!
Dwayne has put the pics from the party on his web site so check them out!!!

Again this year, a great time was had by all at Dwayne and Larry's 3rd Annual Oscar Party (check out Dwayne's website - http://telusplanet.net/public/dwaylar/index.htm). We crowned a new Oscar Queen, ate tons of food, and laughed and cried at some of the fashions (what was Gwenyth thinking?).
First, last years Oscar Queen gave up his crown to our new champion Cameron who got the most right on the Oscar Ballot. He was so proud!!!
Christmas with Brian's
Family
December 22 - 23, 2001
Christmas with Jeff's
Family
December 24, 2001
This year, we did the big loop - down to Las Vegas, Nevada, over to Anaheim, California, up the Oregon Coast, then to Kelowna, British Columbia, then home.
First Stop
Saturday, July 28th to Sunday, July 29th
We left Edmonton at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 28th and arrived in Las Vegas almost 24 hours later exactly (no stops along the way).
Hot? You wouldn't believe how hot - over 110 degrees Fahrenheit - it was like walking into a blast furnace. And the people!!! Well, I guess that'll teach us for going to Lost Wages on a Saturday.
No, we didn't win a thing but we managed to budget ourselves so we didn't lose too much.
Second Stop
Monday, July 30th to Tuesday, July 31st
After Las Vegas, we drove west through the Mojave Desert to Anaheim, yes - we are going to DISNEYLAND!!! But first, a short stop in Huntington Beach, Jeff's old hometown, to check out the beach, his old house where he spent his formative years, and his old Junior High School. Then, it was off to Movieland Wax Museum.
The first day, we spent the afternoon at Disney's California Adventure. The next day, from 8:00 AM to midnight, we spent at Disneyland...
Third Stop
Wednesday, August 1st to Sunday, August 5th
After Disneyland, we headed north. After a one night stay in Northern California (Willets, California), we arrived in Florence, Oregon. There, we found a nice campground and camped for 3 nights. We generally had decent weather, with only one night of rain.
Fourth Stop
Monday, August 6th to Wednesday, August 8th
We drove up from the Oregon coast through central Washington. We stayed one night in Wenatchee, then headed up to Kelowna to spend a couple of nights in Doyle House, a Bed And Breakfast in the heart of Kelowna. By now, we were so tired we just vegged at the B & B with a few trips to the various fruit/vegetable stands in Kelowna. We also picked sour cherries. Oh what fun! On Wednesday morning, we packed up and drove home.

On June 16th, Jeff celebrated his 40th birthday with friends at Buddy's Niteclub. This was also Pride Parade Day in Edmonton so it was a very busy day...

Easter 2001 (Sunday, April 15th) was spent at Cheryl and Terry's acreage with Jeff's kids, Jeff's sisters, nieces and nephews, Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Fred, and Grandma Ruth. Everyone brought food, and we had a great time. The only thing missing was David (Jeff's brother), his wife Traci and their kids who live in Oregon - they were missed.
Special thanks go to Cheryl (Jeff's ex) and Terry for allowing this menagerie to invade their home!

Dwayne and Larry hosted their 2nd annual OSCAR
PARTY on March 25, 2001. A great time was had by all. Reigning
Oscar Queen BRIAN lost his crown to JEFF (no, not the Jeff who does this
web page, sadly), who correctly guessed the most number of Oscar winner's.
There was good food (a potluck) and a lot of discussion re the current
fashion trends of the rich and famous...

and Penticton. We had a great time, and came home with someone special
(see the last picture in the set). We took TONS of pictures. Here
