The Latin phrase, "carpe diem" (seize the day) is often used to remind the listener to take advantage of all opportunies and to make the best of things. Anyone who hasn't studied Latin (me included), may originally think it has something to do with fishing for carp. The Wood Engravers Network invited members to participate in a project to benefit the Hamilton Wood Type Museum in Two Rivers Wisconsin titled “Seize the Carp”. This became an opportunity for me to express something in my "See What I'm Saying?" series.
