It's interesting to discover there is an Alien of Planet Earth named a Stargazer. Stargazers are fish that have eyes on the top of their large heads and a mouth that faces upwards because they bury themselves in the sand at the bottom of shallow ocean waters to wait for prey. When they see a meal coming their way they jump out of the sand and grab their prey. Some species have a long lure growing from the floor of their mouths with which to coax a meal closer. Stargazers are venomous and some species have the ability to give electric shocks. The sizes among the various species of Stargazers range from 7 inches, to the Giant Stargazer that can grow to 36 inches.
