When someone is trying to describe an unusual meat, such as frog's legs or rattlesnake, to another person who hasn't tasted that meat, they often describe the taste by saying, "It tastes like chicken". Incidentally, bullfrogs (which are the source of frog's legs) are known to eat more than flies. They will eat anything they can get in their mouths such as mice, snakes, birds and smaller frogs (including their own kind).
