Celebration 2005 is a catalyst to draw people together in new and different ways to demonstrate God's love in practical ways to their communities. The hope is that Celebration 2005 will have a local, regional and national lasting impact. Through participation in this initiative, we would like the local churches to make a greater positive impact in their communities for years to come.
During this three week period we picked garbage at the Hillside school, collected donations for Sunrise House (the local emergancy youth shelter), did maintenance & yard work at the youth shelter and made 10 jean quilts for them. This was an awesome experience for us to serve in our community and we look forward to doing more in the future.
