Father Lacombe's Hermitage

Constructed in 1885, this was the first Catholic Church in Pincher Creek and was used until 1902 by the Catholic community. Originally built for Father Lacombe, he was thought to have used it for 10 years before his transfer to central Alberta.

Displayed in the log Hermitage are the original alter pieces from Pincher Creek's second Catholic church as well as a history of the Catholic community.
