This saying pretty much sums up what I am all about. The dogs always come first. I have a strong background in competitive sport, and after years of rodeoing, I began working with dogs, taking courses, and eventually training dogs for narcotics detection, rescue, explosive detection, and personal protection, as well as dogs for penitentiary service. I am fascinated with the process of working with the dog as a whole,
finding out where we can go, and how much we can accomplish. I treat
and handle all my dogs with sensitivity and respect - remembering that each dog is an
individual. I primarily attend All-breed and Specialty shows in Canada and the United States. I have also attended Crufts in the UK, World Shows in Europe and South America and Mexico. Dogs I have handled have won at Crufts, the World Shows, as well as, at some of Canada's largest and/or most prestigious shows, including Credit Valley, Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers (October) and Alberta Kennel Club (August) Many of the dogs I have handled over the years have been ranked in the Top 10, both at breed and at group level. I have handled dogs from 6 of the 7 groups to many All Breed Best In Show awards, Regional and National Best In Specialty wins. I have also handled dogs that have won or placed in groups in the US.
