Huxley is a useful retriever and a willing worker. He passed his Working Certificate on his first try at the FCRSC specialty in August 2002. We are working on lining, casting and other handling skills. Huxley is a very steady and patient dog in the field. On his first duck hunt he happily retrieved 14 ducks from icy cold waters in December.

Huxley completed his CD obedience title in November 2004. He won "High in Class" with each qualifying score, and all his scores were in teh 190's. He has a flashy heeling style (when he's doing it properly!). Huxley knows some of the open and utility exercises. The scent discrimination exercise is his favourite. He is also training in scent hurdle racing.
