| Life is zipping along and everything seems to be going very quickly right now! The puppies are enjoying walks around the prairie, spending more time outside, entertaining their visitors, discovering the joys of water in the paddling pool and are growing like weeds. They now spend a large part of the day in one of our kennel runs, where they have lots of space to play, shade, an indoor sleeping area and Tinbie for a neighbour. They are let out every few hours and their housetraining is coming along very well. In the evening they are back in the house and sleep through the night in the pen in the kitchen.
They are all very keen on retrieving, so we do a few short retrieves with each puppy every day. Lupine continues to be a fantastic mother, spending lots of time with them every day. They are still nursing and Lupine plays with them a lot. They have also been playing with their big brother, Tinbie. Along with all the fun stuff comes the not-so-fun stuff, such as getting their nails trimmed and being de-wormed! |
