Lupine is a very sweet dog who is growing up to be quite a character with a cheeky sense of humour. She has an outstanding temperament and wants to be everyone's friend. When Tally had her puppies, Lupine wanted very much to be involved. She loved her role as "Auntie Loopy", playing very gently with the puppies, and taking over motherly duties when Tally had had enough! When she had her own puppies, it was not surprising that she was a super mother - attentive and tolerant.

Loopy is a bold little dog with tons of confidence and stability. She loves to work, whether it be obedience, hunting, agility or scent hurdle racing.

Her nickname is "Snoopy Loopy", as she has a tendancy to stick her nose in places where it doesn't necessarily belong - such as garbage cans, the dishwasher, other people's handbags and so on.....

Lupine is a real pleasure to have around. She is very undemanding, laidback, loving and calm.

We named her after the flower, Lupine, because it is derived from "Lupinus" , meaning wolf-like. We thought it was a suitable name that would honour her sire, O'Flanagan Dances with Wolfes. As Lupine likes to have a good howl from time to time, it is doubly appropriate.

Retrieving, hunting, playing with people and dogs

Chasing and barking at the vacuum cleaner, random acts of barking (just to keep the other dogs on their toes), eating kleenex
