Mikey is a breath-taking, energetic, always-happy flat-coated retriever. At 8 years old, he is in great health and shows no signs of slowing down. He is owned by our friend, Beverly Creed, in Calgary. We have had the good fortune to watch Mikey grow up over the years - we first met him and fell in love with him when he was just 7 weeks old at his breeders. We watched his first big wins in the show ring at 6 months old, and cheered him on when he won the 2002 National Specialty in Calgary. We have also had the pleasure of watching him work in the field.

Not surprisingly, Mikey takes after his grandfather, Tar (Am/Can Ch Almanza Wet or Dry at Prairielight CDX WCI JH) in many ways. Mikey's sire, Ch Inglis Prairie Solstice CD WC is also a Best in Specialty winner and was the #1 flat-coated retriever in 1999.

Mikey is black and does not carry liver.
