| We are pleased with how Pipit is growing up. She has a feminine and pretty head with a super expression. Her angulation is very good, with good length and angle of upper arm. Her side movement is lovely. Her feet are small, tight and deep. We are especially pleased with her length of neck, depth of ribcage, overall balance and elegance. She could use a slightly more prominant prow, her croup is a tiny bit steeper than we'd like and a touch darker eye would be nice. But we are being very picky here!
Pipit easily finished her championship at just over 1 year of age and has shown a few times as a special, winning two Group 4ths along the way. In April 2008, Pipit won Winners Female, Best of Winners and then went on to win Best of Breed at the Flat-coated Retriever Society of America's National Specialty show, with an entry of 300 flat-coats. We couldn't be prouder! |
