Roekkr is owned by Joey Farrell and Linda Roe (Labrys flat-coated retrievers) in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Roekkr finished his Canadian Championship at 14 months of age. At the FCRSA specialty, he won the large 12-15 month puppy sweeps class as well as earning his Working Certificate and a Judges Award of Merit in the Unsteady Singles B Competition. He finished his Junior Hunter and Rally Novice titles in the summer of 2008.
