Another week of ahead, filled with adventures, new experiences and learning...
#3 and #1 on a walk up the gravel road Puppy adventurers. They are much more independent this week and happily march off on their own, busily exploring new territory.

Sometimes we are so tired at the end of the day that we fall asleep with one foot in the water bowl. We are water dogs after all!

June 5
One of the most exciting parts of the week was a trip to the river. This involved loading the puppies up in crates in the van, driving the very short distance down the hill and then walking through the willows to the rivers' edge, where it the flow is quite slow. Tally came along to demonstrate the fine art of swimming. The puppies watched on in great awe while she swam out after a toy. They all waded in and played in the water and mud and two of the puppies actually waded out far enough to swim! Tally then showed them how to roll in the sand after swimming, to complete the experience. Everyone had a brilliant time. On getting home, they all had a quick bath, as they were quite filthy.
