I cut the damaged sections out with the table saw, and tried to make the cut as square as possible, so that I could glue the plugs in.
Then I sanded off the excess, and glassed balanced etc. The amazing
thing is how well the prop worked when it was damaged.
This is probably because the damage was more central, and the majority
of a prop's power comes from the outer 1/3.
I have yet to invest in some leading edge tape, as evidenced by the
erosion at the tip.
