It comes in 5'x5' sheets, but you can buy a half sheet, and make lots. I use the 1/4" for most boomerangs, and the 1/8" for the kids triblades.
It's also good to have a wood hasp and some sanding blocks for tuning them up on the field.
I will post some links, but you can just search for boomerang plans, and you will find lots.
The two in the middle are my favorites. Nice long circular flight path.
