I want you to look at these five cards and to mentally select one. Now this is very important. I do not want you to make up your mind right away. I want you to take your time and make up your mind very slowly. Make sure you do not jump to a quick decision. You have a completely free choice in this selection. I will not try to influence you in any way what so ever. I just want to make sure that you make a clear decision that is not influenced by outside sources.

In other words, just because I placed the ace in the middle does not mean I am trying to influence you to think of the ace. So you might think of it and then again, you might not.

You might also suspect that I only put one black card in with four red cards. That in itself might influence your choice of cards. Then again, it might not. At this point there is really no way I could know.

Anyway, just look over the five cards very carefully, as long as you want, and once you have that card in your mind, I want you to concentrate on that card. Concentrate very hard on the card that only you could possibly know.
