Mr. Stone also participated in the creation of a position paper on the future of health care in Alberta for the Premier's Commission, and partnered in the creation of the Drumheller Center for Natural Healing where he continues to maintain a practice.

In the past four years he has created two alternative health databases and has published his first book, Herbs Explained.
Presently, Mr. Stone is a consultant for two international nutritional companies and has created several herbal and supplement formulas that are currently marketed throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. It was during the course of the research for these databases and for the formulas that Mr. Stone realized that there is very little accurate and impartial scientific information on herbal medicine that was available and easily understood by the general population. This book is the result of countless hours of compiling data from numerous databases, publications and recent research, taking from each the best that it had to offer.
