Reeve: Patrick Kelly. Councillors: D. Sorbara, Tony
Cancellieri. Secretary-Treasurer: A. F. Cunning.
Auditor: James Isidore McDermott.

Mar. 27/1917 - A. E Cunning, Secretary Treasurer, to
the Deputy Minister, reporting that P. Kelly had been
appointed Reeve and A. F Cunning reappointed Secretary,
Treasurer.

Aug. 30/1917 - A. E Cunning, Secretary Treasurer to the
Deputy Minister reporting that the Reeve, Mr. Kelly had
moved from the village.

Sept. 4/1917 - Deputy Minister to A. E Cunning, Secretary
Treasurer, informing him that Council should call a by-
election to replace Mr. Kelly.

Dec. 12/1917 - A. E Cunning, Secretary Treasurer, to
Deputy Minister informing him that no nominations had
been received at the regular nomination meeting due to a
political meeting on the same day, and another meeting
was called the following Monday and only received one
nomination. He also reported that the present took no
interest and several meetings had to be postponed and Mr.
Cunning felt he could not do a first class job. J. I.
McDen-nott was appointed auditor.

Dec. 22/1917 - Deputy Minister to A. E Cunning, Secretary
Treasurer, in reply to the letter of Dec. 12th, 1917, informing
him of the situation and if he would ask Inspector A. D. Fidler
to check matters and make a recommendation for an Official
Reeve.
