Adolph Carlson

Seven Persons - Once Hundred Sixty Acres and a Dream
As the Story was Told

This Swedish gentleman came to Canada to brighten the lives of the pioneers with his fine accordion music. He loved to play and to watch the people dance to his tunes. He loved to dance, too. He provided music for dances from Bullshead Butte to Seven Persons, and he played with other musicians such as Carl Carlson, Sven Neilsen, Roland Konrad and Sonny Barby. He came here to be with friends such as Ole Olson, Mr. Benum, the Storvicks, Hendricksons and Gust Carlson. He did prove up a homestead and lived there till he retired. His dry wit and humor made him much respected.
