Joe was born in Boston in 1885. Annie was born in Newfound-
land in 1885. Annie was unable to attend school as she had
to look after her family. Her inability to read did not hamper
her ability to do beautiful crocheting. She could copy another
piece of work perfectly.

Joe and Annie were married in New York, and came out west
in the early 1900's. They farmed in the Ross Lake District
until the 1950's. They retired into Cardston in 1951.

Joe died in July of 1955, and Annie followed in March of 1957.
Martin Wacher purchased the farm from the estate, and then
sold it to his step-grandson Joe Mogenson. George Nay bought
it from Joe in 1964.
