Goldie (Clark) Crawford

William was born in 1890 in Wyoming, West
Virginia. He was the only child. He came to
Canada and settled in Warner, Alberta, where
he married Goldie Clark in 1912.

In 1917, William and Goldie moved from Warner
to Spring Coulee, where William clerked for a
number of years in the Spring Coulee Trading Co.
under the managment of Bert Kelley. They lived in a
small white house north of the store. Later they
worked for Clara C. Thompson Farming Co. and
lived in the coulee west of town.

Mr. Crawford was active in home talent show,
sports etc.. He died of tuberculosis but mom
always thought that his illness was contracted
after he helped fight a fire in Spring Coulee. He
died in 1929.

Goldie Clark Crawford was born in 1898 in Lincoln
Nebraska. She had one sister Millie and two
brothers, Roy and Earl. Goldie is the only one
living. In 1930 Goldie remarried Jim Rollingson.

William and Goldie had six children: three sons
and three daughters.

Goldie and Jim Rollingson moved to Lethhridge in
1930 had two children, a son and a daughter.
