MARY'S GENEALOGY TREASURES
William, the third child of Minna and Frederick Garrick was
born on November 15, 1903 at Dominion No. 1, Glace Bay,
Nova Scotia.
He moved with his parents (Minna and Frederick) and
three brothers to lethbridge in 1906. The family next
moved to Wigan and, in 1910, they settled in Coalhurst.
Bill (William) grew up and received all of his schooling
in Coalhurst. In the early 1920's he moved to Detroit,
Michigan.
Bill married in 1927 and they lived in Coalhurst for about
three months after their marriage. They then moved back
to Michigan. Years later Bill passed away. They had
four children, two sons and two daughters.
