Elizabeth and Walter Hutton

Mr. and Mrs. (Elizabeth and Walter) Hutton and their three children, two
sons and one daughter came to Coalhurst in the late 1920's.
Mr. Hutton worked in the mine until his death in 1932. Mr.
and Mrs. Hutton both served in World War 1, 1914-1918.
Mrs. Hutton was in the women's division and they met and
married in England in 1916, coming to Canada in 1919.
Their son James joined the Navy May 6, 1940 and was
stationed at the West Coast. On May 1, 1942 he was listed
missing in action.

Mrs. Hutton moved to Lethbridge in the 1940's and spent the
rest of her life in the city. She passed away at age ninety-one on
July 28, 1974.
