Dan Quigley - Mine Manager 1920-1930
The Quigleys lived for most of their stay in a
company house but in 1928 the mine company
built a new home for them. In 1930, Mr. Quigley
purchased a small fruit farm at Sidar on the shore of
Duck Lake. They lived at Sidar until Mr. Quigley's
death, then Mrs. Quigley returned to Coalhurst and
lived with Joe and Maggie King for a year or so,
and then when the King's moved to Lethbridge,
Mrs. Quigley rented a small apartment and continued
living there until her death.
