John and Mary Skiba came to the United States from
Hungary in the early 1900's. In 1910 they moved to
Hardieville where John worked in the coal mines.

While they were living in Hardieville, two daughters and
two sons were born. In 1918 they moved to Wrentham.
A son and a daughter were born while they were there.

In 1928 the family purchased a farm at Wilson Siding.
Another son was born there. The family lived on the farm
until John Sr. died in 1949. Mary died in 1958.
