Mia belongs to Keri Carbert of Alberta, both are like members of the Snowventure family. Look for pictures of Mia on our photo album pages as well.
Mia and Keri have been carting, hiking, sledding and skijoring with us. Mia and Saga even went through obedience classes together.
Keri wrote the following:
“Mia is my first malamute; she is a standard female and was formerly shown in the ring by Sharon James of Koyuk Alaskan Malamutes. Mia and I love to be involved in activities including hiking, sledding, skijoring, and anything else we can do together. We have completed our first level of obedience and look forward to the next level as well as agility! She is very social with other dogs, and especially people, she always has plenty of kisses to share! She receives new things quite openly including my horses, and cats although she still needs some work with those running furballs! Her only wish is that she could come in the house all the time to be with me! I am so grateful for having Mia in my family, and look forward to an addition to keep her company. I want to thank Sue and all the dogs at Snowventure (special mention to Saga from Mia) for welcoming us to there family, thank you so much!! We are indebted to your warmth and kindness!”
