Taz is the daughter of Sue’s first two Malamutes Malhaven Smoke on Water and Ch. Malhaven Nanuk Kernertok. Taz is also mother to Icee, Dodger, Sequoia, Zzko, Wolfie, and Sedona and Grandmother to Saga.

Taz’s primary role at Snowventure has been Sue’s shadow. Very much a mama’s girl, Taz has a very mellow, but playful personality. Although Taz is over standard for a female at 25 inches and 85 pounds, Taz is an excellent example of how a malamute should be built. Well-proportioned and well-boned, Taz’s movement is effortless. Taz has an absolutely exceptional coat, which is not too long, but nor is it short, it is very dense and oily, it also repels dirt and snow easily.
Taz is now retired from breeding, but watch for her occasional return to the show ring in the veteran’s class in 2003.
