Nanton Lancaster Air Museum - Nanton has long been recognized for its Lancaster Bomber, a war time plane, parked alongside highway #2 south for 25 years. A dedicated crew of volunteers, with community support has built a permanent home for the Lanc in the form of an interpretive museum. The air museum is worth a look any day of the year. Less than 10 remain intact in the world, from over 7,000 built. The museum greets over 25,000 visitors annually and continues to grow in popularity with the addition of new displays and an expansion.
