Phi-Psi Publishers produces and markets books in Philosophy in dramatic or novel form. Volume I of our PHILOSOPHY-IN-DRAMA SERIES is CARTESIAN DREAMS, a play about the French philosopher Rene Descartes' last days. It is meant to be read along with Descartes' MEDITATIONS. It will also appeal to the general educated reader with interests in drama and philosophy. Released June 2000.   Volume II is LIVES AND EVILS, released February 2001. It addresses the Problem of Evil and Suffering, a topic which appears in most introductory courses in Philosophy and in all courses in Philosophy of Religion. The drama explores attempts to reconcile God's all-loving and all-powerful nature with apparently pointless and excessive pain and suffering. NEECHEEMOOS AND INUSPI, WINTER AT DELPHI, and PLATO'S RETREAT are scheduled for publication in 2001/2002. Play summaries and a preface to the series are available on request.
