What are we up to these days? (Written Feb. 2nd, 2009)

Bev and I are still enjoying sledding in the mountains. The scenery is wonderful and it can be very challenging as well. Bev got a new sled again this year and so far it is much better than the last one in 2008.

We are still helping Marie host the Holiday Ranch Weekends and assisting Jerry Jestin with the Western Workshop Weekend in Red Deer

We made it to the Canadian Figure Skating Championships in Saskatoon this year. A really good event with lots of great skating.

I retired from TELUS on July 11, 2008, after 32 years of service. Very happy to be out of there! We have spent some time at our condo in Elkford, and My Mom and I went to Denmark for three weeks in the fall, a great trip. Lots to do in retirement, there is always golf, boating, hiking and more sledding too!
