![]() ![]() ![]() My search for information on creating web pages led me to many excellent sites, far too many to mention them all. The best site to start with for beginners is Create It~101. This site gives you all the basics to get started. It also has links to other sites that are very informative, including graphic sites. Another excellent site is Writing HTML. This site is set up in lesson format and you can download them to work offline. You create a web page as you learn.
As I progressed in efforts to learn more about building webpages, I came across a site that has it all. BigNoseBird.com In my effort to learn as much as possible, my journey led me to Web Monkey In October 2002, I stumbled across an excellent tutorial on creating webpages aimed at children but is an excellent site for all ages. Lisa Explains it All For graphics for your web page, you have a multitude of choices. I have visited 100s of pages and that is only a small number of sites that have free graphics etc for your personal web page. Remember the number one rule! Do not link directly to their graphics from your web page. Download them to your hard drive. Do not be a Bandwidth thief. Please read their terms. Some sites require you to give them credit on your web page if you use their graphics. Here is a list of a few of the sites.
