Freezer Pickles

| 7 | cups | cucumbers, sliced |       | 1 | large | onion, sliced |
| 1 | cup | green pepper, sliced |       | 1 | tbsp | pickling salt |
| 1/2 | tsp | celery seed |       | 1 | cup | white vinegar |
| 2 | cups | sugar |       | | | |

| Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Stir well. Cover and refrigerate for 3 days, stirring every day. Pack into freezer containers, covering with brine to within 1 inch of top. freeze. Thaw before serving. Keeps in refrigerator for at least 8 weeks. Keeps in freezer at least 1 year. They are crisp and tasty.
