Freezer Pickles
 
7cupscucumbers, sliced       1 largeonion, sliced
1cupgreen pepper, sliced     1 tbsppickling salt
1/2tspcelery seed      1cup white vinegar
2cupssugar     
 
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Stir well. Cover and refrigerate for 3 days, stirring every day. Pack into freezer containers, covering with brine to within 1 inch of top. freeze. Thaw before serving. Keeps in refrigerator for at least 8 weeks. Keeps in freezer at least 1 year. They are crisp and tasty.

Makes: 3 pints.
