At present my volunteer work is being a transcriber for a website about the seamen and ships of the British Empire. I also help out at the Good Food Box which is a non-profit group that buys and distributes fresh fruit and vegetables to its members at wholesale cost. Many low income and seniors cannot afford to buy enough fresh food. For a very low membership fee and some volunteer work, they can get a wide variety of produce once a month.
