Hat Creek Cowboy Coffee

They say a watched pot never boils

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED:

• 1 Large Blue Enamel Coffee Pot
• Cold water ... preferably from a cold clear Alberta mountain stream in the high country
• Great Coffee ... preferably a cowboy roast
• Whisky ... preferably an Alberta Rye Whisky

HERE'S WHAT YOU DO:

1. Fill the large Blue Enamel Coffee Pot with water

2. Heat the water in the pot over you campfire

3. Once the water comes to a boil then add your coffee

4. Let the coffee simmer for about 3 or 4 minutes

5. Remove the pot from the heat and add a dash of cold water to settle the grounds

6. Add some whisky to your cup ... to taste and of course depending on the time of day how much!

7. Sit back and enjoy a great cup of cowboy coffee ... it'll go perfectly with some hot Whisky Toast!
