Tom Coxworth

Tom Coxworth has been recording and producing Folk Routes for CKUA from his home studio in Calgary for almost 12 years now. He celebrated 10 years on CKUA in February 2005. Tom has his own vast collection of music to draw from each week for his show.

It seems that radio has always been a part of Tom's life. He started out at CJSR in 1986 where he took over the Celtic program called In the Tradition. It's there that he met up with a wee Scot named Andy Donnelly and the two of them hosted the Celtic Show for almost eight years.

Tom describes Folk Routes as a statement of who he is. You can hear Tom on Folk Routes on Sunday morning on the CKUA radio network.
