Trips/Places That I Have Already Been:

Dominican Republic (10 days at Jack Tar Village)
Daytona Beach, Florida (bus trip from the University of Waterloo, 10 days)
Three white water rafting trips to the Ottawa River
Driving trip from Edmonton to Minneapolis/St. Paul:

Across the Canadian Prairies and down through Manitoba and Fargo, North Dakota
Returned across the US, through South Dakota (Badlands National Park & Black Hills), and Wyoming (Yellowstone National Park) (5 days)

Weekend Driving trip to Glacier National Park, Montana
Chile, South America (4 weeks):

Various flights on the way down from Edmonton stopped in Calgary, Dallas, Miami, Caracus Venezuela, Manaus Brazil, Santa Cruz and La Paz Bolivia and finally Santiago Chile
Stayed with a family in Santiago
Took weekend trips to El Quisco and also to Valparaíso and Viña del Mar
Day trips up into the Andes mountains
Various flights on the way back from Santiago stopped in Sao Paulo Brazil, Miami, Dallas, St. Paul, Calgary and finally Edmonton

Driving trip from Edmonton to Toronto:

Left Edmonton and headed east through Saskatoon and then down into the US through Regina and across to Fargo North Dakota
Then down through Minneapolis, St. Paul, and on to Madison, Wisconsin
Then over to Milwaukee and down through Chicago Illinois and around the tip of Lake Michigan through Indiana and up to Detroit Michigan
Then across to Windsor and up to Toronto
Returned to Edmonton the same route

Venezuela, South America (4 weeks):

Stayed with a family in Puerto Cabello for 3 weeks
One week trip to Caracus and across to Margarita Island
Day trips to Kayo Sombrero, Isla Larga and Patenemo Beach

Three one week trips to Ottawa for training for work
Two months in Vancouver for work with day/weekend trips to:

Whistler
Seattle (underground city tour)
Ferry trip over to Vancouver Island to visit Victoria and Nanaimo

Driving Trip Tour of North America (2 months):

Left Edmonton and headed west through Kelowna BC to the west coast
Headed down the west coast through Seattle, Portland, and over to the Pacific Coast Highway
Down the Pacific Coast Highway through San Fransisco, Los Angeles (stayed in Hollywood), and San Diego
Headed to Las Vegas (stayed in the Luxor Hotel), via the Mojave Desert
From Vegas, visited the Hoover Dam and then took Route 66 across Arizona to Flagstaff
Then it was a side trip up to the Grand Canyon
From there, headed east through New Mexico and down to El Paso Texas
Then, headed across Texas through San Antonio and Houston and into Louisianna to New Orleans
From New Orleans, headed east through Mississippi, Alabama and into Florida
In Forida, headed down to Orlando to go to Disney World
Made side trips from Orlando to Tampa (Busch Gardens) and Cape Kennedy, spending July 4th at Cocoa Beach
Then headed south along the east coast of Florida, through Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Miami Beach and then down through the Keys through Key Largo to Key West
After Key West, headed north through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and into Virginia to Washington D.C.
From there, went north-east through Baltimore and Philadelphia New Jersey, to New York city
Then headed north through New York state up into Canada to Montreal
Spent a few days in Montreal and then headed west to Toronto
Visited friends in Toronto and then headed north-west to Oliphant on the Bruce Penninsula
After a week visiting friends in Oliphant, headed north to take the ferry from Tobermory to Manitoulin Island and headed to Sault Ste. Marie
Then over to Winnipeg and north-west through Saskatoon back home to Edmonton

Las Vegas (Alladin Hotel, 4 days)
Hawaii - Honolulu, Waikiki Beach (10 days)
Phoenix (10 days, including another side trip to the Grand Canyon)
New York (10 days) - really enjoyed Broadway!
Guadalajara Mexico attending Monterrey Tech on a 2 week Spanish course through the Faculty of Extension at the University of Alberta
Spain (6.5 weeks):

Five weeks taking 2 Spanish credit courses at the Univerity of Salamanca Pontificia in Salamanca (though the University of Alberta), with side trips visiting:

Ten days travelling around Spain by car, visiting:

Austin, Texas on two occasions attending courses for work, first trip during Marti Gras weekend.
Driving trip from Edmonton to California (2 weeks):

Left Edmonton for Calgary
Headed down I-15 through Montana, Idaho, and Nevada
Stopped in Reno for a short visit
Stayed in Sacramento area doing day trips from there to:

San Jose
San Francisco
Lake Tahoe
Napa Valley (lots of wine tasting)
Yosemite National Park

Spent 3 days down in L.A. doing:

Returned with short visit to Salt Lake City, Utah

Driving trip from Edmonton to The Okanagan Valley in BC for the Okanagan Wine Festival (1 week in October, twice):

Stayed with cousins in Keremeos.
Day trips every day visiting over 50 wineries in the Okanagan Valley doing wine tasting and purchasing of at least one bottle of wine from every one.

Greece (3 weeks):

One week sightseeing in Athens and the Plaka / Parthenon area
One week travelling around the islands:

Paros
Santorini
Mykonos

One week staying at a friend's place in Arkidiko Ghorio on the south-eastern coast

Montreal (1 week)
Driving trip from Edmonton to Ontario for the Niagara FAll Wine Festival (1 week in September):

Drove there via the US and back through Canada.
Stayed at Motel 6 in Niagara Falls.
Day trips every day visiting over 50 wineries in the Niagara region doing wine tasting and purchasing of at least one bottle of wine from every one.
Had enough time to also do all the Niagara Falls area stuff.
