The Information on these pages comes from personal research
and observations, and should not be taken as expert advice, I am not a qualified
gunsmith or machinist. (so if you blow yourself up thats your problem) I have
used firearms for hunting and target shooting, as well as the standard issued
weapons from my time in the military.
I started with a few hunting rifles and then collecting Lee Enfield rifles and have branched out to collect a variety of other rifles. I try to shoot all the rifles that I own but its getting hard to find the time. I have also started to reload my own ammo to save a few dollars, and its a lot of fun, rather therapeutic actually. The rifles on these pages represent some of the rifles that I own, have owned and later sold, or have done some work on, remember I am not a qualified gunsmith or machinist but I'm fairly handy with tools. I am familiar with drill presses, metal lathes, milling machines, etc... I've added a page on Reloading. I've been working on it now for a while and plan to add more as time goes on. I've also been doing some research on ballistics and bullets, Part of the reloading process, so I've added some links that I think may be interesting. Let me know what you think (mail to function on main page) |

Collecting these rifles can be extremely addictive. I'm in the process of deciding which to keep and which to sell to make room for other rifles. The problem with trading is that I tend to end up with more Enfields then I started with. I also try to restore these rifles to their original condition, but after +50 years the proper matching parts are hard to find. I now have samples of ShtLE, No1, P14, No4, No5, EAL, and DCRA .308 conversion. I've included a history page and I'm working on more pictures. |

Russia's main battle rifle for many years these rifles have an interesting history. The development of these rifles parallels the Enfield rifles in some ways. Produced in Russia and many of the old Eastern Block countries as well as France and the USA. Finland also adopted this rifle but never produced whole rifles, but used captured receivers, and new manufacture parts to rebuild their rifles. |

Actually a Norinco M305, I can't afford a real M1A. With a Bushnell 4-12 x 40 Scope, I've changed the scope to a Bushnell 3.5-10 x 32, its a little smaller and with a matte black finish looks better on this rifle. (7.62x51 NATO, 308 Winchester) |
