Bob Dylan (born 1941)

American folk-rock/singer-songwriter with influences from blues, country, gospel and folk.

(Real name: Robert Zinneman. Name changed in 1962 in honour of poet Dylan Thomas. The group "The Band" were Bob's backup band on some albums. The albums up to 1966 were acoustic.)
