The prairies are very beautiful. They are wide and moving and full of promise. There is very little there and so every little thing is all the more precious. As you can tell: it is a very Romantic landscape.
Below are a few pictures I took during the 2004 Interpretation Canada conference in Lethbridge. It was a cold day, wet snow had fallen and the photographs cannot do justice to the colors that the river valley developed with that thin coat of snow icing on.
It is funny how Lethbridge started out with no bridge at all and then a huge bridge was constructed that has become its landmark. I have to say I don't really care too much for bridges. But what a nice river it spans!
